Analysis of the South Korean Precipitation Network Linked by DCCA Methodology

In this paper, we carried out a network analysis of the South Korean precipitation data of 59 regions. We calculated the correlation coefficients by the detrended cross correlation analysis (DCCA) from Oct. 2012 to Sep. 2017. The network is constructed by connecting links for the pairs exceeding 0.6, the general reference value of strong correlation. By the network analysis, we derived the degree distribution, as well as the characteristic path length, clustering coefficient, assortativity and modularity. After the analysis, we could infer the South Korean precipitation network has not small-world and scale-free properties. Also, we confirmed that the network topology is quite robust and assortative
